The new privacy fence had to run through planted beds, past the pool equipment and right along the edge of an existing deck.

How we solved it
The hard parts of this job
A fence stays straight when its posts do. Every hole was augered, and every post set plumb and in line, before a single section was hung.
01Post holes among the planting
The fence line runs through planted beds and past the pool equipment. The holes were drilled in place with a power auger, between the hostas and next to the equipment pad.
02Sections built on the lawn
The board sections were built flat on the open lawn, then hung between the posts with the lattice on top. Along the deck, the fence runs right at the deck edge.
