Who we are

What we collect

When you request an estimate we collect your name, phone number, email address, city or postal code, the project details and photos you send, your preferred timeline, budget range and contact method. We also record the page you sent the form from and, if present, advertising campaign parameters (such as utm_source) so we know which channels bring requests.

Each request is also kept as a text copy (no photos) on our hosting provider for 90 days, as a backup. The “Report a problem” button sends the description you type, the page address, your browser type and screen size and, if you give it, your email. Those reports are kept for 180 days.

The site uses the Meta Pixel, Meta’s advertising measurement tool. It sets cookies and records page views, clicks on the phone number and WhatsApp, and form submissions, so we can see which Facebook and Instagram ads bring requests. When you send a request, we also send Meta a Lead event with your phone number and email address in hashed (scrambled, one-way) form, so Meta can match it to an ad without receiving the numbers themselves.

The site uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and records visits, the pages viewed and the same clicks and submissions, in aggregate.

The site uses Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are scrolled and clicked (heatmaps and anonymised session replays) so we can find what is hard to use. Clarity masks the text you type into the form.

Campaign parameters from the link you arrived by are kept in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab, and are sent with your request. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site and the form work without them.

How we use it

To contact you about your request, prepare an estimate, schedule a site visit and carry out work you agree to. We do not sell your information. We share it only with our marketing agency, which runs this website and our advertising, and with services we use to operate the business (messaging, email and hosting providers, some of which store data outside Canada), and where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not become a project are deleted within 24 months. Project records are kept as long as needed for warranty, tax and legal purposes.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent to be contacted, by emailing [email protected]. Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) applies to how we handle personal information.
