Where the job started
The front bed was bare soil right up to the interlock border, with a tree in a stone ring near the sidewalk.

01Fabric around the tree ring
The bed has a tree in a stone ring near the sidewalk. The fabric was cut to fit around the ring and runs out to both edges of the bed.
02Two edges to hold
On the driveway side the bed meets the paver border. Along the lawn, a black edging holds the curve, and the mulch fills up to both.
