Where the job started
The landing in front of the porch sits between two stone walls, and it had to come apart down to the soil before it could be rebuilt properly.

- Lift the old stone and stack it for reuse
- Dig out the landing
- Lay fabric over the soil
- Place and level a stone base

01Old pavers stacked on the porch
The pavers came up and were stacked on the porch while the landing was dug out between the two stone walls.
02Fabric from wall to wall
Fabric covers the soil from the porch step to both side walls, and the stone base over it was levelled across the whole landing.
